Our staff is proud to provide outstanding obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages in the Shoals area. The staff at Colbert OB-GYN strive to provide our patients a friendly atmosphere while treating each one professionally. Our nurses are available to return your calls during office hours. If you have an emergency after office hours, go to the Emergency Room at the hospital. If your after-hours call illness can be discussed with the call physician, call our office number. The answering service will contact the on call physician.

Larry C. Stutts, MD, FACOG

 

Larry C. Stutts is a board certified Fellow of the American College of OB-GYN. He is a native of Cherokee, Alabama. A graduate of Auburn University and the University of South Alabama, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham in 1992. Dr. Stutts is married to Jackie Stutts. They have four children, Elizabeth Thompson (Scott), Rebecca Hovater (Greg), Sarah Philbin (Matt), and Collins. In 2013, he welcomed his first grandchild, Michael Hovater, into the family. In 2015, his second grandson, Robert Thompson, and first granddaughter, Libby Hovater, were born.

Steven Snyder, MD

 

Steven Snyder is a native of Shelby County, Alabama. A graduate of the University of Alabama, he completed medical school and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile in 2012. Dr. Snyder is married to Janet Snyder, and they have three children, William, Evelyn, and Benjamin.

Mandy Murner, MSN, CRNP

 

Amanda L. Murner grew up in the Shoals area. She is a graduate of the University of North Alabama and completed her graduate degree at the University of Alabama at Huntsville in 2000. She is married to Bryan Murner, and they have three children, Willa, Mary Alice, and Jay. Mandy is a Plan First Provider. Plan First is a family planning program for women ages 19 - 44 that want care and support.
