Payment Policy
Medical services are provided and billed by Colbert OB-GYN for most major health insurance plans in the region. Call the office to inquire about your particular health plan coverage if you have questions. Be aware that all health plans may have deductibles and copayments for which you will be responsible at the time of service.
After you are an established patient, please inform us if you change insurance companies. Always bring your insurance card with you when you come for your appointment.
GYN Payments
We require payment at the time of service. If you are having financial difficulties, we will work with you to establish a schedule of payments.
If you have met your deductible, we will file your insurance claim form for the full amount. Otherwise, you will need to make payment at the time of your visit. Copays are due at the time of the visit.
Please bring your insurance card with you on your initial OB and/or GYN visit.
OB Payments
If you are not covered by insurance we will work with you to establish a payment schedule for care and delivery. Your payments should be paid by the seventh month of your pregnancy.
We charge a global fee for OB care, delivery, and your post delivery visit. You will be responsible for your deductible and any portion of the amount not paid by your insurance. The following items are not included in the global fee: some ultrasounds, non-stress tests, and additional hospital admissions. We will, however file these procedures with your insurance company.
